The report\u00a0\u201cIREU Top 500: A performance ranking of Europe\u2019s Top500 ecommerce and multichannel retailers\u201d\u00a0is the first Europe-wide retail performance index, ranking the Top 500 most significant multichannel and eCommerce retailers from 31 countries (the members of the European Economic Area \u2013 EEA plus Switzerland), based on their performance across seven dimensions.\u00a0IREU Top500 research shows that, as a group, leading European retailers are often starting to foster cross-border trade, but have by no means completed the task. JD.com launched the „JD running chicken” pilot project under which JD Finance provides the start-up capital while JD Fresh, the department which sells fresh produce online, oversees the project’s ecommerce operation.
