Netflix comes to Romania and other countries

The American platform Netflix, known for its archive of thousands of films, TV series and original content, is available in Romania. Customers can subscribe to a 30-day trial and after that they can choose of 3 available subscriptions. The most affordable subscription is 7,99 euros per month and it includes watching videos on one screen only.

Videos can help brands boost their sales, conversion rates and visibility, but few retailers truly know how to use video. A report of L2 shows that companies from 9 markets (Great Britain, USA, Brazil, Germany, Canada, France, Japan and South Korea) invested more by 43% in video-advertising in 2015 as compared to 2014, while investments in TV raised by only 3%.

The turnover for F64.ro in 2015 was 15% higher as compared to 2014. In October last year, the online shop estimated a turnover of 24 mil. euro (compared to 21 mil. euro in 2014). The most popular products that were bought last year: the Canon DSLR EOS 6D, Nikon D750, Canon EOS 70D, Nikon D5300, the mirrorless model Sony Alpha 5000.

Pay per auto at OLX

OLX comicOLX.ro introduced the compulsory payment for auto ads, as an important change in their business model. Until now, the website was only charging the promotion services for ads. The minimum price now to show an auto ad is 4,8 euros by card and 6 euros by SMS.

An early look at e-commerce data for the holiday 2015 shopping season finds mobile devices—smartphones and tablets—driving 30.4% of online sales, according to Custora, a provider of e-commerce marketing analytics that tracks retailer clients’ results. Apple devices accounted for 76.9% of mobile online orders while 22.7% were made on Android devices during the holiday period of Nov. 1-Dec. 31, Custora says. During November and December, e-commerce revenue increased 12.1% over the 2014 holiday season, says Custora.
