2Parale invests EUR 25,000 into organizing Black Friday 2015
Our traditional partner, 2Parale, has invested almost EUR 25,000 in organizing, promotion and sustaining Black Friday in 2015. In this context, the company has estimated for this year a growth of 30 percent in the online sales generated through the affiliation’ platform. The investment was realized in a massive Black Friday campaign through: infrastructure upgrade, developing a platform for the information and the education of the advertisers and the affiliated members, by creating an event that had gathered at the same table over 150 affiliated members and representatives of the online shops etc.

Our colleagues at TRUSTED.ro bring us some details about the newly-adopted governmental decision 38/2015 regarding the steps to be taken in the case of a conflict between an online shop and a customer. The new law intends to come with new opportunities to solve the problems between an online merchant and its individual customers, separate from the classic methods. The new law starts from an important principle: the first step in solving a problem has to be taken between the two partners – the online shop and the customer.

Romanians want more TV sets
For Black Friday this year, the majority of the baskets will contain between 2 and 3 products, a higher number compared to 2014, according to a Millward Brown Romania survey. On the list, TV sets are most present (40% of the respondents), small appliances (39%) – such as vacuum cleaners, mixers and food processors – and mobile phones (22%). Washing machines and fridges are the next two categories on the list.

DOMO quits the brick-and-mortar sector
The IT retailer Domo, one of the biggest niche companies in Romania, will close all physical shops and stay in the online sector only, according to market sources. Some shops have alreadybeen absorbed by competitors and the electronics and appliances manufacturers say that they haven’t been paid by DOMO; as a result, they will not provide with more merchandise a company that has been having big problems for a long time.
Boosting the sales with payment on instalment
The german company RatePAY GmbH is planning a new system of online payment on instalment. In the sudy to be found at the link below, one of the conclusions is that merchants could increase sales and customer satisfaction and acquire new customers by integrating payment on instalment into their portfolio. In addition, the average value of the shopping basket and the conversion rate increased for over half of all merchants.
