The winners of GPeC 2015

Competitia-GPeC-2015

After a 8-month competition, with an evaluation based on tens of criteria, the best online shops from Romania got on the stage after the GPeC Summit 2015, to receive their prizes. The Shop of the Year is F64.ro, and Borealy.ro won three prizes: Best Merchant, Winner of the Gifts and Jewels category and Best Experienced Shop.

Golden Black Friday

emagAs a premiere this Black Friday, eMAG sold 24 carats gold bars and 22 carats gold coins. The biggest order ever made online at eMAG was worth 85.590 euros – a Range Rover Sport 4.4 Diesel SDV8 HSE Dynamic Luxor, with over 20.000 euros discount, from 05.667 euros. Over 800 sellers from eMAG Marketplace received over 50.000 orders, worth 12,5 million lei.

The Black Friday affiliation

2parale2Parale processed over 42.000 online transactions worth 15,5 million lei, this Black Friday. Froday, between 00:00 and 01:00, 37 transactions per minute were processed on the 2Parale platform. Romanians spent online 4,7 million lei more than last year, in the first three days of Black Friday 2015. Top categories: IT&C, books and school objects, fashion.

A 10-year history in a nutshell

The result is a report on the evolution of e-commerce in Romania, between 1997-2015 and some predictions. European online payments market, a reality in two years

plati electroniceEuropean Ministers in the Council officially adopted legislation aimed at further developing an EU-wide market for electronic payments. In two years’ time, all Member States must implement rules for emerging and innovative payments services, including internet and mobile payments. At the same time, the directive promotes stronger security measures for internet payments and for the use of services provided by new market players.
