FAN Courier is investing for the Brasov transit

Fan CourierFAN Courier estimates that it will double the transited merchandise in Brasov after finalising, in December, a new sorting center; the investment is estimated at 4.5 million euros. The constructions began in June, on a 26.800 sq meters-terrain. The center will include a 3.500 sq meteres-warehouse and an office building of over 1.800 sq meters. FAN Courier has eight regional centers all over the country, that will be modernised and automated.

17 retailers start overnight deliveries with Google Express

Google Express17 retailers have expanded delivery options to include Google Express overnight deliveries to consumers who live outside big-city limits throughout the Midwest. Google Express, which began in 2013 as Google Shopping Express, lets consumers shop the Google Express site for products from participating local retailers. Shoppers can join the service and receive three free months of membership, after which Google Express costs $95 per year or $10 per month.

eMag-branded Apple Shop

Apple Shop EmageMag will open an Apple Shop on September 18, in the Crangasi showroom. The exclusive distributor of Apple products in Romania is Integrated Romanian Information Systems (IRIS), a company that reporter a 32.3 milion lei profit in 2014. On the local market, there are 10 premium resellers, among which: Alfacapital (iCentre), Istyle Retail (iStyle), Noumax, Extreme Tin Tin, iRequest, Grup Transilvae and Unx (Xstore).

F64 and eMag strike a deal

F64-Emag marketplaceF64, online photo-video shop, winner two years in a row of the Awards Gala prize for the IT&C and electronics category, announced its listing in the eMag marketplace. All the products won’t be available, but most of the popular products will be sold in the marketplace: photo and video cameras, flashes, bags, tripods, filters, batteries and accessories.

Fixed Internet connection is good for online shopping

studiu ANCOMAn ANCOM study shows that few Romanians use the fixed Internet connection to shop online (39%) and for banking or bill payments (22%). As for the usage, one Romanian uses the fixed Internet at home an average of 24 days per month. 74% of the respondents access it daily or almost daily (90% for the young users between 16 and 24 years), whereas 16% declare that they use it 2-3 times per week and 4% use it once a week.
