Floria made more than half a million euro
Floria, a TRUSTED.ro online shop, made over 4 million lei (950.000 euro), of which almost 60% (550.000 euro) from the online sales. The online flower shop opened a brick-and-mortar shop, dubbed Floria in the Street, as a result of a 450.000 lei (100.000 euro) investment.

FAN Courier is growing in Bucharest
Starting this month, FAN Courier customers can send and receive parcels in the newest 4 locations in Bucharest. The 8 locations in the city are placed in different zones of the Capital, servicing a growing number of customers; thus the transit is not influencing the delivery times to destination.

Smart TV customers will be able to buy apps and games, e-books and on-demand movies, without leaving the couch. The new payment system, dubbed Samsung Pay on TV, is using the credit card information or a PayPal account. As a start, the new payment system will be available in 32 countries, only for some Smart TV models launched in 2014 and 2015.

Market research firm eMarketer projects e-commerce sales will eclipse $3.5 trillion within the next five years. The web will account for 7.3% of global retail sales this year, growing to 12.4% by 2019, eMarketer says. Especially in rural regions where you might have less availability of local markets, opportunities to get goods that may be easier to get online, that’s really starting to grow the market.
