Greeks’ money stays in Greece
Greeks don’t have access anymore to online shops and services such as Amazon.com, App Store, PayPal. Last week, the Greek government imposed “capital controls” meant to forbid the Greeks to spend their money abroad. Payments for international online services cannot be made anymore with Greek credit cards. But websites such as Zerofund.org aid investors to continue their operations.
It’s official: GO 34/2014 has been approved
The law for the approval of the Government Ordinance 34/2014 has been published in the Official Monitor 449 from June 23, 2015. This law initiative has been approved by the Senate on September 30, 2014, and by the Chamber of Deputies on May 27, 2015. There are very few modifications to the original version, irelevant for the current functioning of the Romanian e-commerce.

Those Romanians who spend more and more…
Romanians have been spending more money between January and March 2015. Personal consumption rose in the first 5 months of this year by 4.3%. The main engine of the growth is the e-commerce, where buying rose in the same timespan by 21.5%. Romanians spent the most on food and clothes; the consumption of drugs, cosmetics and perfumes was lower.

Will abandoned products find a better price?

Nearly half will intentionally leave items in a shopping cart in hopes of getting a better offer from the retailer, says a survey done by Shop+, the retail unit of the global agency Mindshare North America. 70% of millennials and 59% of adults overall search the web for promo codes before they purchase anything online. The results are based on a survey of 1,000 U.S. adults.
