FAN Courier and KEBA will install parcel lockers in Bucharest

Keba KePolFAN Courier will be using KEBA’s parcel lockers to provide an additional delivery solution to customers. Ten KePol machines will be installed at key locations throughout Romania’s capital city, Bucharest. FAN Courier is providing a 24/7 delivery service network of over 3,650 locations served without additional costs, as well as more than 500 locations serviced with their “Collect Point” service at gas stations in Bucharest and other cities. But the company was looking for a solution to complement this service with an innovative pick-up solution.

Leading online shops don’t keep up the pace with the m-commerce and it’s a shame

There is a strong shift to mobile-based e-commerce from desktop which is lifting the prospects of some leading web merchants and depressing them for others. This competitive challenge to the e-commerce elite can be seen by comparing the world’s 25 largest e-commerce competitors, as ranked by Internet Retailer’s recently released Global 1000 Database, to the world’s 25 largest mobile commerce competitors, which are ranked in IR’s 2017 Mobile 500, published earlier this month.

International delivery, a huge advantage on the e-commerce market

The challenge for retailers is that customers don’t want to pay more, so retailers must try to achieve the best possible solution. The report highlights the findings of a research from May 2016, when 100 Heads of Operations, Heads of Logistics and Heads of E-Commerce were asked about where they stand and what they predict for the future of delivery.

Amazon Tests a Paid Customer Support Model

amazonAmazon is testing a paid customer support model. For small sellers, it may sound ridiculously expensive at $400/month, but for larger merchants, that may be a small price to pay for help to resolve problems that impact their business. Merchants interested in the ALP program can choose from three topics: “Basics of Selling on Amazon,” “Fulfillment by Amazon,” or “Advanced Listings.” Sellers also receive a free 30-minute follow up session “to reinforce your knowledge.”
