MobilPay lowers the commissions
In order to make the e-commerce grow in Romania, MobilPay reconsidered the commissions for the card payments. After having taken the advice and considering the consultancy of partners, Netopia launched two versions of commissioning: the fixed percentage commission 0.99%+0.30 lei per transaction, no matter the volume or value; monthly rate, depending on the monthly transacted value. The commission will become valid only after signing the additional act or the card annex.

The potential of the multi-screening trend in communication
79% of Romanians use the Internet on their smartphones while watching TV. The research was made between September – October 2015, on 5.000 users from Romania, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Russia. Locally, Romania holds a set of remarkable figures: a little more than 90% of Romanians say that they go online while watching TV. Secondary screens, such as the smartphone and the tablet, are the main access sources.
Fashion store Lesara expands to 16 new countries, including Romania

Lesara, a Berlin-based online fashion and lifestyle retailer, has announced it will now also supply customers in Romania, the United Kingdom, Spain, Greece and other European countries. The foundation for this big step in further internationalization was a relaunch of Lesara.com. The online fashion retailer is already active in six European countries. Germany generates 60 percent of sales at the moment, the company’s strongest growth market.

How much money Romanians spend on gifts
A study undertaken by GKI Digital for Compari.ro concluded that the majority of Romanians choose online shops (87%) to buy Christmas gifts and the average amount they will spend is 570 lei. The study was made in October, on 510 persons active on the Internet (who go online daily), of which 58% men and 42% women.
