The 11th annual edition of GPeC has started!
Today, April 21 2016, the 11th annual edition of GPeC – the trademark event of Romanian e-commerce has started. According to the organisers, starting today and until November you will be in for 8 months of Premium e-commerce events organised by GPeC.
GPeC 2016 Online Shops Competition
Starting today and until May 31 2016, online shops who wish to evaluate their websites and online presence do so by registering for the GPeC Competition. The GPeC jury formed by more than 20 e-commerce experts will analyse the websites of the online shops registered in the Competition starting from 125 essential business criteria: Usability, Customer Experience, Design, Functionality, Social Media, SEO, Security, Legal aspects, Professional and Quality of Service.
The 125 GPeC jury evaluation criteria represent the most complex guide on how to ensure the success of your online shop: “Think of the GPeC criteria as the fundation of a home: any online shop that meets this set of requirements stands an amazing chance to build a successful business. It’s like building a foundation that can resist a 9 degree Richter scale earthquake” – says Andrei Radu, Founder & CEO GPeC.
The GPeC jury evaluation criteria are revisited yearly in order to be up to date with the latest e-commerce trends and to make sure online shops get an accurate X-Ray of their websites after the evaluation. In other words, after the GPeC 2016 evaluation, each online shop participating in the competition will find out exactly what its online presence issues are and what he can do in order to fix them and sell more.
“Although it’s called the Online Shops Competition, we are more than a competition because we offer online shops a professional audit, made by specialists with good e-commerce experience. Such an audit can help online shops identify their current problems and the solutions to the se problems and this will immediately translate in conversion optimization and a growth in sales“ – explains Andrei Radu.
Who can participate in the GPeC 2016 Competition?
Any online shop that has been in business for at least 6 month.
In order to be accepted in the GPeC 2016 Competition, online shops will be initially evaluated by the GPeC team from the point of view of e-commerce legal aspects and best practices. A wide variety of information will be checked like the publishing of the complete contact information, compliance with the minimum 14 calendar days return policy, informing users correctly on the final price of products, accepted payment methods, delivery terms and waranty and service terms etc.
As soon as the pre-screening criteria has been checked and met, online shops are accepted in the GPeC 2016 Competition and receive the TRUSTED.ro trustmark for 12 month as part of their participation in the competition – this means that the online shops become legally certified as Trusted Online Shops that comply with currently applicable laws and regulations.
Starting from this year, together with the TRUSTED certificate of compliance online shops will also receive free access for 12 months for the “TRUSTED opinions” feedback system. The system will allow online shops to find out the real opinion of their customers regarding the quality of services and their overall degree of satisfaction.
Once they are accepted in the GPeC 2016 Online Shops Competition, online shops will be evaluated in 2 different stages starting from 125 evaluation criteria and will receive evaluation reports consisting of the GPeC jury grades for each criterion as well as short comments and recommendations on how to improve certain aspects of their websites.
The fee for registering with the GPeC 2016 Online Shops Competition starts from 260 EUR, but online shops receive services and benefits of more than 2920 EUR! The full list of benefits can be viewed on the GPeC website.
