Dan Ariely is on the Bloomberg list of the 50 most influential contemporary thinkers - an elitist ranking dedicated to personalities who, through their work, have a significant impact on changing mentalities, principles, public policies, markets, ideas. He is University Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke University and one of the world's most influential authorities and voices in Behavioral Economics.
He holds a PhD in cognitive psychology and business administration and has over 20 years of experience researching the hidden psychological insights that lead people to act in predictable ways.
Dan Ariely is the author of 3 books - New York Times Bestsellers: Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality and The (Honest) Truth About Dishonesty. Starting this fall, the NBC television network will produce and broadcast a television show based on Dan Ariely's book - Predictably Irrational.
In his latest book – Misbelief (2023) – Dan Ariely studies and explains what makes rational people believe in irrational things.

- The GPeC Workshop on October 30th takes place at BT Stup, located in Calea Șerban Vodă no. 206, sector 4 (Parcul Tineretului landmark). Due to the lack of parking spaces in the area, we recommend that you find other transport options instead of your personal car. (Metro station Tineretului is close by; the location is reachable by public transport - bus & tramway)
- The GPeC SUMMIT Conference, GPeC Expo and the eCommerce Awards Gala on October 31st are held in an exclusive setting, at the Great Hall (Ion Caramitru) of the Bucharest National Theatre, located at kilometer zero of the Capital, on B-dul Nicolae Bălcescu no. 2, sector 1 (university square landmark).
Participants who arrive at the GPeC SUMMIT event by car can use the Inter Parking underground car park (under TNB) at the fixed price of 50 lei for 24 hours of parking (30 lei if you have the InterPark App installed). It has two levels of parking and has a total capacity of 969 places.
