Elena Gheorghe, Country Manager PayU GPO,  has been part of the PayU Romania team for 12 years, holding the positions of Finance Manager, Business Development Manager and, starting May 2020, she is the Country Manager of PayU GPO in Romania. Over the years, she coordinated the financing process of the expansion of the local platform in several countries, the transformation and cross-border merger of the company, she coordinated the launch of new payment methods and business models with financial institutions from Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, but also of products such as the first marketplace in Romania, the Instant Money Back / Fast Refund service, VISA off-us Installments and PayU Online Credit, Google Pay, Apple Pay, BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) or Slice and instant transfers based on Visa Direct and MoneySend technologies.
